Heavy eerie storm clouds hang over the Pennine moors near Belmont. The sun hardly makes an appearance but adds a strange orange colour to the sky. A short time after the heavens opened.

On the hillside near Belmont Church the path leads up through a forest. Early in the morning the sun is often very low in the sky creating beautiful backlit tress and low lying mist. The colours are stunning and full of warm browns and yellows.

Holcombe Hill has some stunning views. Especially early in the morning as the suns heats the cold hills and mist rises in the valleys.

A very damp and misty Clitheroe in early springtime. Beautiful skeleton like trees surrounded by the fog which is lit up by the rising sun.
