A rare cloud inversion over the Rossendale Valley. Viewed from Holcombe Hill the cloud is settled in the valley over Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall. All the way up to Scout Moor where the windmills appear out of the cloud.Dawn at Roddlesworth Reservoir and forest. For a brief time the almost red sunlight skims the reservoir and its trees and hillsides.Sunset over the Pennine moors. The warmth of the fading sunlight washes over the landscape. Contrasting with a vivid blue sky with the moon still above the horizon.Entwistle Forest on a very dark moody day in autumn. The dull light has a way of exaggerating the brown colours of the forest.
