Exploring Anglezarke away from the well trodden paths. Unused trails and paths are interesting places to find. Overgrown and taken over by nature there is a hidden world close to the more familiar haunts.

Dawn in the Ribble Valley. An unusual pink glow is caused by the red sun lighting up the mist rising from the wet fields. For a few minutes the landscape turns a pastel shade of red.

A really cold and frosty morning at Calf Hey in the grip of winter. Everywhere has a touch of white frost adding a cold feel to the landscape.

Rapidly fading light has created some dramatic landscapes around Rivington. Views as far as Blackpool are clear as the storm clouds roll over Winter Hill and leave behind a hazy horizon.

At first light in Altham the Leeds Liverpool Canal reflects the stunning colours of the dawn sky.. A family of swans glides down the canal as sheep in the nearby fields get ready for the new day.

Walking through The Lodge at sunset the colours are bright and all around. The trees and the strong sun create some eye catching pictures when shooting straight into the light.
